When your consignment arrives…
Immediately upon arrival, inspect your shipment. Delivery drivers must wait for the product to be inspected at time of delivery.
Consignment damage happens on less than 10% of all consignment shipments. If any damage is found, it is very important that you write detailed damage notes on the consignment bill before signing.
If you consider the damage to be excessive, refuse the delivery and raise a query ticket at RehabCart on firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Inspect your delivery thoroughly in person. In case of your absence request to your representative to do the needful on your behalf.
- Open all packages and visually inspect for scratches, cracks, tears, and punctures.
- If applicable, open all drawers and doors, and inspect all corners.
- Look under the pallet to see if there is hidden damage caused by a forklift.
Please note that Shipment is taken over by third-party Service Providers, hence RehabCart.com will not be liable for any claim or damages directly or indirectly. However, we will help you to ensure that we will co-ordinate with the shipment provider to ensure the delivery to your given address. Policy and terms for shipment may differ based on the service provider we choose for the territory, so RehabCart will only take responsibility for support and coordination between User and Shipment Provider.
For insurance of the product or delivery, you may directly contact the shipment company as they will be contacting you via email. You need to check your spam folder for the email if it’s not received on the mailbox. Insurance for shipment is again subject to shipment provider’s policy and terms and condition. Kindly review the terms from their website carefully before ordering. Being an online platform for connecting the products to retail users / corporate users, RehabCart is only a provider of informative support. Tracking of your shipment is subjected to input received from the Shipment Company or logistics company only.
The RehabCart web site automatically calculates the shipping cost based on standard shipping algorithms. We reserve the right to make the necessary corrections due to an electronic error. If the corrected amount results in a higher shipping fee of over the earlier fixed shipping fees, you will be contacted for approval prior to shipping. The link of the shipping contractors’ website will be providing a clear picture of the rates and weights correlation for the shipping of the product.
Many of our products ship factory direct. Some merchant’s or manufacturer’s or vendor’s require a minimum order and may charge for broken cartons. Some merchant’s or manufacturer’s or vendor’s will not ship less than a full caseload. Some bulky items may require an additional freight amount above what is shown in our system due to overweight and oversized product. In this case, you will be notified as soon as possible. You will also have the option to cancel the order at that time.
